Oh the joys of getting something finished! :-)

The white fabric with cats and dogs was given to me by a friend, with the instructions "make my daughter a quilt".

Originally I tried to get more of the fabric, but couldn't, so started collecting bits and pieces of other fabrics I thought "went".

Then I couldn't decide on a pattern, so asked you guys, and settled on Yellow Brick Road.

But red and black and white are not really my thing, and I found it really hard to get motivated to finish this.

Now that it's done, I don't want to give it up! I'm so proud, it's come out fantastically! I quilted it yesterday, with red thread (not really showing up well in the photos sorry) in a stipple pattern, and the back is a tartan polar fleece.

This would be one of the best quilts I've done, I'm really really pleased with it.
It's off on the courier now, to arrive at my friend's daughter's place tomorrow. Nothin like leaving it to the last minute! LOL
