Do you use decor fabric or regular quilting fabric? I am going to make (or at lease attempt to) make a few bags this weekend. Just wondering how well regular fabric will hold up to daily wear and tear.
The first Bow-Tucks purse I made was with cotton fabric from Connecting Threads. It has been used and used and used and still going strong. In fact, I've washed it several times and it still looks brand new. I've carried unbelievable weight inside at times and the straps have never budged from their original position. The only thing that bothers me about these fabric purses (ANY of them) is that it's often necessary to sit them on a counter when looking for things when shopping or when paying for items. It would be nice if someone came up with an idea on these fabric, soft bottom purses for elevating them above the counter surfaces on legs (?) of some sort.
