The percentage is probably as varied as there are variances in quilters.

We have two cats. We were always just a one cat home, and always have had Tom kitties. Until we were adopted by the most incredible cat who was dumped we surmise near our home... Who we found was already spayed, she must have been loved by someone? The vet said that they are seeing more animals abandoned during these bad economic times :0( We named her Princess Girlie Girl as she is so feminine compared to our Tom kitty....Our other is a yellow neutered tom named Kip-Purr. Two dogs both rescues...Rusty is a Corgi/traveling man breed and our baby is a Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund named Pickles.
