so now we get to move to the machine.

if you haven't already, check that your 1/4 inch foot and or guide is indeed 1/4. The pieces are measured for that seam allowance, especially with the angles that we have, it can throw things a lot as you go if you are even just a little out.

Sew together your small HST, one dark and one light, giving you a square, check your seam when you are done, you don't need to check all of them, but especially if you are having trouble with your points, this is a good place to start checking. 1/4

Open them and press seams to the dark side (though this is as well personal preferance) You should have 4 per block.
