I was wondering what that thin cord was hanging down from the quilt cover -- you could make a little pocket on the back of the quilt, unplug the cord when not in use and store it in that pocket ....

The tree is on a green velvet-covered board 22" wide x 34" high. The tree itself is 15" at its widest point and 28" total length. You can't see it from the pics, but MIL and GA drilled holes in the board and inserted a string of Christmas lights also.
