I plug my iron into a powerstrip that also has a radio plugged into it that is turned on. When I leave the room I shut the power strip off and the radio is off. This helps me remember. However I still unplug my iron (just in case). This minni tradgidy tells me I'm not just being parinoid. Thanks for sending out a warning :thumbup:
