Hello all from No. Ky. Been lurking for a while, enjoying all the comradarie, pictures and inspiration on this great site.
I've been working on my first quilt for a while. Decided to hand quilt my first one. I'm doing a GFG block in quilt as you go. Have almost 2 strips done and 3 more to go. Also have a lattice quilt top started on the machine.
Today's my birthday [63rd] and feeling a bit blue because it makes me miss my parents more than usual. Mom always made my favorite supper for me with my favorite dessert, chili spagetti and chocolate cake. I just can't make my chili taste like hers. Thought it might pick me up to "talk" to all you nice ladies and gentlemen on my favorite site.
Still, I'm counting my blessings..my DH and our sweet and terribly spoiled pound rescue, Sam and our equally spoiled cats,
Patches and Ralph and the abundance of blessings God provides every day. Thanks for listening..
