Even tho I really like the 319W I am still learning and I don't know about the stack but it is a good question. This is the first multi talented machine I have treadled and there is so much to learn about it. Maybe Billy can answer this question for us.

Those stack disks look just like the others. There are screws holding the thing together but I would be chicken to pull it apart with out a schematic.
I am also concerned about taking the stack apart without knowing more. It looks simple enough but.........

I did find a service manual for the 319
