It's only 8:40 here and I've closed the door and turned out the lights as no treaters have come by in more than 1/2 an hour. I think we counted about 12. All children were accompanied by an adult. I guess parents are keeping their children at home or going to organized parties.

I had to work late and didn't get home until after 8. My neighbor said it was very busy; which I would have loved to see the kids.She also told me she watched a woman come up to my pitch dark house and screw in the lightbulb. I had my daughter make sure it was off so that not only would no one waste thier time but my dogs wouldn't go crazy. She said this happened about 3 times. I was surprised. I went to Wendy's and got gift books for the kids that live close to me since I wasn't there to give out candy.
