As suggested a narrow sleeve sewn down would be good.
For my personal use, I interchange many of my tabletoppers/wallhangings so I just use small pins to attach them to my wall when they are a hanging. I tend to go overboard when making quilted items for the holidays that I dont have enough tables for all my toppers! Lol and I like to make them reversible so that I have two holidays covered!
