The pastor who was in charge of the volunteers gave me this piece of advice: Do not be like a flexible branch, because that eventually breaks. Instead, be like a river and go with the flow. As a side note, I noticed a very old thread, from 2009, about glitches with the last update (before my time). It might be a good idea to have one of those started by the admin/mods for this update - just in case any of them are reading. I've run into a few glitches already.
