I made one very similar for my kindle, but I put a pocket on the back of it for the cord so when ever I go to my folk's house I won't forget the cord as it stays right there in the pocket. I should have made the pocket a little bit longer tho. It was easy to make too. I also found a book cover at the Goodwill that has a zipper on it and made some protection and I do use it once inna while, but there is no place for the cord unless I make a little pouch and attach it to the strap that is on it.
