I'm also a senior member........any way to get started at paper piecing you could try some charity quilt blocks from the Linus Project.
I first got started when I was with a group of ladies in a sewing group and that day I was a nervous wreck.
The best way to learn is by yourself ......I bought a PP book and just made like quilt blocks for pot holder use and I really enjoy it. There are video's you can watch that will show you. But the best way is to be by yourself when you have the time to play..
