It's that time of year. I seldom have a sore throat, but this is good even if you don't. It's something I sorta invented.

Heat chicken broth, canned or homemade. In soup mug, sprinkle ground cayenne pepper (experiment with amount...I use about 1/4 to 1/2 tsp.) and 1 to 2 tsp. vinegar. Pour the hot broth in bowl and sip like drinking hot tea, stirring often to keep the pepper from settling to the bottom.
