I'd have to say needle, thread, and scissors. We could all still create with those basic supplies. It's like the old granny said when asked which was most important to her in keeping house: running water. That reduces us to the basics doesn't it? We COULD do without anything else and still create, but isn't it fun with all our modern gadgets.
