I've got laminate in all the bedrooms and the upstairs hall of my house. I used Pergo. I love it. It's easy to install and you can do it yourself with no problem. It's easy to take care of and I don't have to dust nearly as often as when we had carpeting. I still have carpeting in my sewing room, only because I hate the idea of moving my longarm and all of my stuff and moving it back again.
