I love the freezer paper method. I had a hard time with needle turn applique and then I found freezer paper and fell in love. I applique a lot now and this is the only method I use. I also use three layers of freezer paper. Cookie cutters are great but I also like using my GO cutter. Especially if I want multiple shapes say for doing leaves or flowers. I simple fuse my three layers together and then run them through my go cutter.
