I have a D1 that uses a floppy and I would never change it over to USB...too slow...as for the floppy disks being discontinued, they've been saying that for years so one time I stocked up on several boxes but find I use the same few over and over...I don't store my designs on my floppies just what I want to run on the machine at the time...save yourself some money and don't upgrade...
