The prairie points will stand up as long as they are sewn well. Make sure you fold carefully, press the shapes and sew them with a generous seam. That's a new idea! I had always pinned them individually to the edge, then sewn them directly to the quilt. Then I hand stitched the backing. I love the board for the new ideas here!
