My son-in-law gave me his old iPad when he got the iPad 2. Now I wonder how I ever got along without it. I download books from the public library and have downloaded lots of old books with expired copyrights. I love reading books on my iPad because I can get a large font. This weekend, I was able to watch the 20/20 segment on Pat Summitt again. I like that fact that I can put TV apps on the iPad. As for quilting, I have two quilting apps that I really like - -
QuiltCalc
which lets you calculate the yardage needed for quilts, etc. and
BlockFab-HD
which gives you lots of quilt blocks, you can look at them in different colors, and it gives all the information you need for making a quilt with the block selected. Both apps are free. I have been very ill for the past 2 weeks. During that time, I have been reading the Quilting Board on my iPad. I was able to lie down and begin learning how to navigate the new format. As you can see, I love my iPad!
