Signature Quilt from the Civil War era
Thursday & Friday I spent in Washington DC, with my son on the Fifth grade field trip. One of the agenda items was Ford's Theater. In the museum, there is a signature quilt of the era, which was used as a fundraiser.
If this works, the pictures are:
The quilt as signed by famous people of the era.
The key to all the signatures
Lincoln's signature
Attorney General Bate's signature (I think - I wanted to get the detail of the quilt's edge).
At one point, I left Gus and his friend who were sitting waiting to go on to the next part of the tour, to go back to the quilt. Gus's response - "Of course."
Cheers, K
