Enjoy your great find!! I have 2 featherweights, one is from 1939 and my favorite one is from 1945, and is named Ethel Jane after the two people who owned it before me. I even had to bring it with me last week when we came up to our daughter's home to help take care of grand children. ( she didn't want to stay at home.) It has come in handy as I've used it a couple of times to do sewing for them with it. You will just love your little featherweight.
