I've begun a couple years back making quilts for my family and using 100% cotton - and then one requested knowing hers was next, if i'd use a flannel back on hers - it is warmer to the touch when you are cold or sick -or/?? So, I began using the flannel backing on all my quilts now and everyone now wants flannel on the backs of theirs!
So, just a suggestion - use it for backs and especially on baby quilts; so soft and cuddly - and 199 yards of backing can go fast when you use it that way if you make a lot of quilts...
