glad to hear this great news carolyn! what a relief. when the chemo starts it can be rough the first coupla days but hang on, it gets better. will they also do radiation for the throat area or just chemo? take some relaxing material with you (i.e. mags, books [crossword, on tape], relaxing music on mp3) when you both go for the chemo. sometimes it can take a few minutes to get through the process. something relaxing for both of you may help ease the time.

He also removed his gall bladder and his appendix so he would not have any problems there. He did not need the colostomy bag (what a relief that was) he does have a feeding tube in his stomach for when they start chemo his esophagus might close up. Thank you again to all of you for your prayers.
God listened to all of us.
