I seem to have the opposite problem. I find the machines that don't have their carriers, much less their cabinet. Except for two. My treadle of course came in a cabinet, that isn't bad. And a newer acquisition for me, 1960's Montegomery Ward in a very nice cabinet with knee control.
I am using a dressing table for one machine, going to have my DH convert it to sewing with a cutout for the machine.
And the sewing table my DH made me for whatever other machine I need to sew/quilt with at the time.
