Wow this is soooo exciting isn't it..I mean I made a 65" x 45" throw on my little Janome 301- its a small portable and I have to admit I struggled a bit-especially on the bindings as well the feed dogs didnt like the three layers of quilt plus the binding. Also the width when doing the FMQ.
We dont have loads of money so DH wanted me to have it for Christmas - but as you say I need to go into the store and try them out. I love the idea of the 11" width on the 7700-I know I probably wouldnt be able to afford one of the big long arms..so this could be a lovley compromise..I will definately take your advice and bring my swatches in-I may even make up a swatch with binding and see how they cope! I am sure they will eat it!! Thanks for that advice- thats a good idea!
