I know they make it but I've never seen it on the shelves of my LQS. I imagine that because not many quilters use it the price will be higher than regular batt. If you need it for a dark quilt there is not much else you can do but pay the extra I guess. You could try black fleece in the middle but that's fairly expensive also and I'm not sure how it will handle. Good Luck.
