i use Alex Anderson's method---explained in her book---Keep Quilting with Alex Anderson- a book of star sampler blocks- i had problems with flying geese blocks-and avoided them like the plague until i learned this method- now i don't mind them at all- they always come out well-and fairly quickly=
sometimes i foundation piece them-if i am doing long rows of them- that's easier - more precise if you are doing alot in a row.
