I did a 2 inch square into a twister ruler. I put my marks from the 3/4 inch to 3/4 inch measurement on four sides? It turned out twisted but not twister shaped so you would want a bit more of an angle. I had to log out to answer your thread it would not come up in the regular forum. One problem with going down to a 2 inch square was that I was leery of making the angle too steep due to the seam allowances. My Christmas tree is now a Twisted tree rather than twister but I love it anyway. It's got it's own Charlie Brown Christmas Tree thing going on.
