Do you do your own quilting? Free motion quilting? That 11" throat on the 7700 would make moving a quilt around so much easier.
If you quilt, either FMQ or SID . . . go for the 7700.
If not, the 6600 would be fine for piecing and sewing. They are both neat machines.

I wish I had that happy choice
