One was in Lincoln's cabinet, and I have ancestors on both sides that fought in the American Revolution and Civil War, and every war until the Gulf. Both my brothers were vets. My ancestors have been here since the 1650's (not the Mayflower, but not long after). But, many people assume that I'm an immigrant and are not nice about it.
