if you decide to rip out, leave on frame and go to youtube and look up 'skinning a quilt'...so much faster and safer and leaves you right in place to go back to work...i do all mine this way when there is a problem...
this is an interesting video. i can't believe she does that so fast without cutting the backing or quilt top! i've previously seen a method of using electric hair clippers on the back of the quilt to shave off the bobbin thread. but i'm too chicken to try that, also.
