I am getting a longarm for my 50th birthday!!!
I am so excited, and only other quilters would understand. For my 50th birthday, my mother and father, bless their souls, just offered to buy me a longarm. My friend has a Juki set-up, and while it is not by any means the most elaborate or expensive, I think it will work fine for me as well. I am just so thrilled and grateful to them for doing this for me, and I hope to show you all the quilts I will be able to whip out now!! Just kidding, I know it is a long learning curve!
