Talking with the ladies in Chat today I was reminded of one of mine. When mama was sick (cancer) she had a port~o~potty for bedside use, but the metal bars were cold and the seat was very hard. the back was to far back. The foot rails hurt her feet. i went to local Alco store and bought 3 inch yellow foam and 8 yards of polar fleece. Dad made a wooden inset to make it sturdier then we covered every possible surface with thick foam and soft polar fleece. on the arms i used a knot and knotted fleece around it. by the time we were done she had the softest, warmest port~o~potty around. When the lid was down many visitors sat on it to talk with her.
