Find a coordinating fabric and cut another apron. Hem the pockets and sew them to the front. Sew the two aprons together leaving the top edge open to turn it. Clip the curves and corners and turn right side out. Add ties to the top and the sides. Fold the top edges in and top stitch closed.
I hadn't even thought about that, it would make the apron more protective. Which is a good thing if you are a sloppy cook like I am.
