i put one small nail in the middle of my display area...then i clip a tiny hole in the middle of the 'display sleeve' that is permanently applied to most of my 'personal' quilts (those that are not gifts)...then i slip the hole over the nail head...inside the sleeve is a piece of lath 4 inches shorter than the quilt so that the ends don't show...inexpensive, invisible, and easy to do...I have several pcs of lath painted (to prevent splinters) and stored in a closet for different display quilts (i tend to change seasonally). as long as the hole is exactly centered, the quilt is easy to level out...
