Watch this video. I am making bias tape this way today. There is a measuring table that tells you exactly how much fabric you need for bias tape. I have a queen size quilt and I only need a 36" square of material to make bias tape for this whole quilt.

I'm so OCD it takes me forever just to make a 36" strip of bias. Really irritates me, but I have to have a perfect strip, really frustrating. It turns out great, but holy moly it takes me way too long!! Any special tips would be most appreciated.
