I have an apron panel...not this exact one but the one I have has the directions on it. First of all...I think you will find that the 2 squares are pot holders but you could make them into pockets, I guess. On my apron I am to 'clean finish' the edge all the way around (you know...turn under 1/4" then turn under again and stitch. There is no binding. Your longest strips at the bottom (the stripes) could be your ties for at your waistline. The other strips at the bottom (snowflake) could make the tie for around your neck. I would make it into one long strip hooked on the apron at both ends and then just pull over the head.

Thank you for the reminder....I have my apron panel all cut out but not put together yet. It has been chilly in our house...just got our new heating/cooling system installed at the end of the week. Last week it was just a tad bit too chilly to sew in my sewing room. I will work on it (and other projects) this week!
