Thanks for your continued interest in my project. No, I have not gotten it to work. The main gear connecting the motor and the handwheel gear is frozen. That is beyond my capability, and since the machine only cost $15, I am dismantling it. I am keeping some of the parts as spares for my other 301, which is in fine working condition, and selling some of the other parts. I think it is a good idea to keep an extra foot controller on hand, which can also be used on my FW.

I imagine a Singer repair person could have fixed the machine, but at a cost. It seemed like the best decision to go no further on it and try to get some revenue from it.
