Monica, I am so excited how did you do that? Jon and I both searched the web and I couldn't find anything about the Hitachi?

Oh and Monica, did you realize (I know you did) that both ads originate in Japan? This is an Hitachi treadle that had to be brought over here by a family that loved it! I am so excited, I printed out both ads to keep with the paperwork for this machine! I wish I had that manual! Geeze, I am so excited!
