Date nut bread
I always make date nut bread for Thankgiving and is a favorite with my family.
1 cup chopped dates
1 cup chopped wallnuts
2 cups boiling water and add 2 teaspoons soda 1 teaspoon salt and 2 table spoons cocoa
2 cups sugar
1/3 cup shortening
add teaspoon vanella
4 cups of flower
grease and flower bread pans
