1. I grew up on a small fishing community on an island off Nova Scotia called Cape Breton
2. At 17 my mom signed on the dotted line for me to enter into the military, I've been stationed all over the world and have been in 2 tours of combat.
3. I have two beautiful daughters and two handsome grand sons
4. I worked as an ER/trauma nurse in Oklahoma City for 10 yrs before returning home to Canada
5. I love to cook - for me its a de-stress part of my day I'm always looking for new recipes! I don't believe in eating out of a box I prefer to have a nice home cooked meal it's the way things were in our house we dad working 2 jobs and mom working full time we always ate supper at the dinner table as a family.
