All the Walmarts near me have stopped selling fabric, lace, colored thread (except black and white). I live in Va. We made ALOT of calls, and complained to the managers, wrote E-mails, and nothing worked. The only place to buy fabric now is Jo Anns, and Hancocks, and they are so much more per yard. I am really upset with Walmart, I make quilts, totes,
handbags, quilted christmas ornaments, pot holders, place mats, table runners, bears, rabbits, dolls, dolls clothes, and even some of my own clothes, and ALL of the fabric came from Walmart. I used to buy fabric every time I went to the store, but not any more, and am truely sad about it. :( Hope you fellow quilting friends never have them close out the fabric where you live. I did save some money, and went to a fabric show, :D and bought fabric in Feburary, but had to spend around ten dollars per yard, and the show only comes around this area once a year.
