Janome has the full list of features/inclusions for their machines on their website, so you could check it for inclusions/exclusions and comparing models.
The same week I bought my 6600, a friend purchased her 7700 from the same dealer. When comparing features I remember the dealer saying that because of something on the 6600 that was not on the 7700, he preferred the 6600 (except for the larger throat, extra stitches being a bonus) . Interesting, eh? that he'd not automatically go for the higher-cost machine!
