I was introduced to quilting by my friend Jen who is a wonderful quilter. I thought since I could sew I could quilt. I made two small baby quilts and they turned out pretty good - the corners were my biggest challenge. My sister in law was diaginosed with breast cancer and I had read about inspiration quilts. I sent blocks to all of my friends and family and put them together WOW WOW! It turned out wonderful. I sent it out to have it professinaly quilted since I was a newbie. It made me feel so good to be able to do something for her since we are on opposite sides of the country. Each block is an original beauty of it's own.

Threads of hope, faith and love keep the quilt together.

I didn't undstand when I heard about quilters stash, I understand now..I am hooked.

I used pink flannel for the backing - I knew it would be soft and cuddly.
