I have the Bernina 830. It cost $10,500 with the long arm table. Beside piecing my quilt, I can now quilt it with my Bernina and long arm table, so it will pay for itself. It's so much cheaper than buying a separate long arm machine. And it does everything imaginable. I love it. I take lessons (have been for 1 1/2 years) to learn how to use it. There is so much to it. I had a little money tucked away for a rainy day and when I saw my machine, it started raining. I've been quilting since 1992 but I'm by far not one of the best quilters. I like tutorials and utubes videos to learn to make new blocks. I haven't used my embroidery yet. I'm still learning all that the machine can do. But I do love my machine. I can't believe that I actually bought it. I'm retired and quilting is what I do now.
