Janome 4618LE -$200 used 2005
Janome JD1822- $295 new in 1991
Singer (1946) 15-91 - Belonged to my Grandmother and then my Mother. I inherited it.
Singer Tiny Serger- $21.99 - new 1998 mostly junk but it's sure cute! It doesn't trim or cut threads.
Singer Treadle (haven't looked to see exactly what it is yet) - gift from DH's nephew's wife 2006
Bailey 17 Pro long arm with stitch regulator - $2817 new 2011
Grace Original Machine Quilter frame -$500 used 2005
Upgraded Carriage for Grace frame -$99.00 new 2011

I don't think I would ever spend more than $2000 on a new domestic machine. I just don't think they are worth more than that. Sewing machines are grossly overpriced IMHO.

At some point I'd like to get a real serger and an inexpensive embroidery machine that I would likely buy used from my Janome dealer. I'm not cheap...I'm thrifty!!
