Was removing the paper easy? I read the tutorial and will purchase the paper she recommends if it isn't difficult to remove as you finish the block? I love your colors. I am making a spider web quilt, but it calls for muslin as the foundation.
I have made a bunch of these and I don't use paper. It takes too long to take it off. I had some really cheapo fabric that was way too thin to use for anything I wanted so used it in place of paper( or muslin) and just sewed my strings on, starting corner to corner. Goes quickly and the fabric backing is so thin that it won't make a difference when I put it together. Just trying to save you some time. :-)
