I bought the corduroy. My guild will use it for backings. One of the corduroys isn't corduroy, though. That one is nice, but the back of it is a solid blue that I like much better than the 'pretty side'. Might have to snip some of that one off for my stash!
Also found a panel in the pile of fabric with about 10 patriotic squares (all the same). Most has been donated to my quilt guild 'specialist' in quilts for soldiers/veterans. Kept a few to make up into quilts, but can't face the prospect of doing 10 of them. Plus, the fabric was from 1990. I think it sat in storage tubs long enough!
Gave the veggie tales panel away - I didn't like it and knew I would never make anything with it. I'm old enough to know that if I don't like a fabric I won't use it.
There is a set of golf fabrics that I know my nephew in law would love made up into a quilt. But I think my niece would be jealous if I made a quilt for him before I make one for her!
