The sales person came over to see if I needed help, so I asked could i get a bulk price, which meant I would have carried all home with me. That offer was declined.

Bottom line is that I picked out a lot of fabric and bought it for $28. The thrift store is dedicated to funding a charity, so I insisted that I be allowed to pay $10 more. Beleive me, I did ok even with paying the extra $10.

Some of the fabric is poly/cotton, but most is 100% cotton. I sorted it for washing on my garage floor and took a picture or two.

Also rescued a cute little girls quilt for $2. Now I have to find a home for it...no toddler girls in my family, but sooner or later it will find a child to love.

I left behind three large pieces of pinwhale corduroy coordinates. Probably about 15 yards total. I really had to think about that because they are soft enough to make nice quilt backings. Am still thinking about them...

If I get the pictures to load, take a look.

Go get the corduroy!

Good job on what you got so far!
